Antarctic expeditioners face an array of health risks, in addition to the normal 'everyday' health issues that they experience.

- Have students research the main health risks that expeditioners face (hypothermia, frostbite, broken limbs, carbon monoxide poisoning, snow blindness, depression and low resistance to infection from new arrivals), and report to the class how they can be avoided, and how they can treated.
